Firefly wrecked her car Thanksgiving Evening. She rear-ended another car. She managed to drive it to her parent's house, but now it will not start. The damage will cost more than the car is worth. She has moved out of her house and in with a new guy she barely knows. This guy doesn't have a car, lives with his mother, and is from the NA meetings. She will never learn.
She thinks they will be moving into their own place by the end of the year. Something tells me that will not happen. I am just sitting back and watching.
On the plus side, she has been drug testing 3 or 4 times a week (I wonder how long it will be before she gets caught with alcohol in her system), and she still has her job at the restaurant. Not sure how she will get to it, though.
The truth is that she doesn't want to learn.

DeleteReckless one. Now she is posting images of her and this new guy on Snapchat. He is nothing to look at and getting sucked in by her clinginess and sex.
ReplyDeleteWell, she knows what assets she can manipulate others with. Doesn't sound like she should be driving if her reckless habits prevail, so perhaps not having a Car is a benefit to the general public on the road, taking the Bus to Work might be beneficial to her if she's not capable of staying sober on the road or making good decisions on a consistent basis yet, if ever. The lofty Daydreaming doesn't surprise me, she's chasing a Fantasy Life while living her self induced Nightmare.
ReplyDeleteGood point. She should be working toward a better future than playing these games. She will be right back where she was, because she is doing the same thing over again hoping for a different result.
