Canceled

Work is picking up. It seems like these last six weeks will be busy. Ava and I were going to get together Thursday, but she called today saying her boyfriend has Covid and she has to cancel all her plans. She has no excuse to leave the house because she cannot say she is visiting her mom. A week suck at home with him will probably drive her nuts.

Then again, it is her birthday this weekend, and his company has Thursday off, so he may have decided to take her somewhere. This is why once my arm is healed, it will be time to find someone new. It doesn't set me back if she cancels. It's Ava who feels the financial loss and will want to make up for it somewhere down the road. Regardless, I must drive to Grand Rapids on Thursday for work, and it would have been a long day.

I have been okay lately, just spending time alone. It doesn't make for exciting blog posts, but that's okay. I can stir up trouble if I really need to. I just don't feel the need. Ava and I have a sleepover planned for the Friday after Thanksgiving. She wants to go to a strip club for her birthday. I'm game for that, but I wish they were as fun as they used to be. We'd both have a better time.
