Losing

I have been losing too much weight lately. I have been tracking my weight on my phone since April of 2018. Wednesday marked an all-time low. I lost sixteen pounds the summer I was going through my break-up with Billie. I am six pounds lighter than that now. At this point, I think everyone would say I have lost too much. Still, I'd rather be too skinny than too large.

I don't think it is health-related. It may be stress or depression-related, but those tend to be temporary. I have changed my diet. I've added more fruits and vegetables into my lunches. That is the influence Ava has left on me.

It was a mild 71 degrees outside Wednesday. I took a walk outside at lunchtime. When Billie and I were together, she would be too tired from a long day of work to go outsides, which seemed okay. These last few years, it's felt like every day I spend inside during the summer, I am missing out on something.

I need to make plans for the weekend. Tink and family will be in DC. Sam is helping her stepson move to Wisconsin for a summer internship this week, but I pick her up from the airport Friday night. Maybe she will go biking, or I can get the twins out for a walk. I see my friend Jay and his wife Friday for dinner, but he usually has plans for the weekend. He likes to play golf. I never took to the sport. I never had the patience or desire to improve past my limited ability.

I have put myself out on dating apps, Tinder, Bumble, and SA. It was something I did instinctively before Ava made her announcement, but those usually take a month or two before they pan out if at all. Ava has promised to help me update my photos which will probably help. I don't usually put much effort into photos, and she is a perfectionist.

I booked another reading with the psychic for next week. I know most of you don't believe in psychics, but this one has always been insightful and it is a fun distraction. I still want to get to Hawaii. If I get that chance, I am going to take it.

  1. Thinner is always healthier. I've always thought golf to be a pretentious sport. There was a golf club back when I was in high school, and the only members were the sons of doctors.

    1. I think thinner is healthier too. Golf just seems like too much money for too little fun to me.

  2. The weight loss sounds troubling. Perhaps talk to your doctor about it? Make sure it's nothing serious. (Although, doctors have been known to see all weight loss as good and overlook any issues that might be causing it.)

    1. I checked my blood pressure and pulse rate when I was over Alexis house, both are in a good range and I eat a healthy diet so I am not worried at this point.

    1. Good ones are hard to find. I like going to this one because she is always inciteful and not easily explained away as a good guesser.

  4. Take the chance and go to Hawaii. Some Psychics are legit, some a Scam, if you get a good one, stick with them, my Mom had that ability and tho' she never charged for Readings, she'd offer some to those closest to her if she felt she needed to give them important information, she was uncannily accurate. The weight loss, should it get too concerning, should get checked out just to give you Peace about it, especially if you're not intentionally losing and don't know why you're consistently losing anyway. As much as I say it's a 'problem' I'd like to have, of coarse it isn't if it were to be Health related, not a good way to get to a Goal weight. *smiles* It's nice that Ava is helping you to have a good Dating App Profile Update, it shows a level of Caring IMO that she wants how your Future Relationships might play out satisfactorily, even if you never pursue one with her.

  5. I hope you do get to go to Hawaii. I've never been but I don't like to travel. I do like all the pictures I've seen of the place though, it's beautiful there.
