In case you are wondering, nothing but work going on here. With two people having quit, I am trying to make the most of my position. The new office is just one of the things I asked for. Meanwhile, I am strapped with extra work both day and night. That is okay for now, I don't have much going on outside of work. I am waiting to see how I fare when raises come out in the next few weeks and the end of the year bonus. Plus we are still negotiating for a more flexible work policy. These things will determine what I do come January.
Working can be good. Not working can be good for a while, but things get boring if you're not doing something every day. I tried that this staycation. I played video games and slept, just like a teenager and I'm way to old to be one of those.

DeleteI hope come January you have the desired outcome for having put in all this work. I always liked Work but oddly am now totally okay with being fully Retired for the first time ever, due to Pandemic... otherwise, I'd still be popping out of Retirement, so this slowed my roll, which isn't such a bad thing after all.
