The power was off for twenty-six hours. Friday the internet was not working in the office, so I worked from home. That night Twin A came over and stayed the weekend. Friday night, I ate something from the freezer that most not have made it to Twin A's house. I got very sick, including dizziness and vomiting. I spent Saturday mostly watching The Walking Dead. I find the show very slow. I can see why I stopped watching it.
The weekends have been slow. My friend Jay is in Florida. Tinkerbell and Tech are in Texas. It sucks when you are looking toward work to keep you busy.

DeleteSick and TWD. Not a good combo. Hope you are feeling better. I gave up on TWD right after Rick "died." I can remember if he actually did really die or it was just some misdirection.

ReplyDeleteWe've had power on an off in the city for most summer - although it's not weather related, it's just that it's been warm + ppl working from home and the grid simply can't handle all the extra request from the AC. Luckily my neighborhood was not much concerned by this.
Working out sucks unless you really find something you love doing and even then, it's a love/hate relationship...
Yes it is a love hate relationship. Believe me all the rest of the food is gone.
DeleteSorry to hear you got sick. Hope you are feeling better. Our power went out for 6 hours a day on 3 different days when the storms blew through. Good thing I didn't have much in my freezer to spoil.

ReplyDeletePower Outages that long mean you really Lost all that frozen food and it should go, lesson learned, at least you weren't deathly sick for long and didn't Die of food poisoning. *Whew* Florida and Texas would be two locales I'd avoid like the Plague, because of the Plague and their Covidiot Governors making it the worst spots in the World for spread and Death right now.
