Firefly left Friday. As is her typical fashion she was running late but she successfully made it to the rehab in Texas. We will see where things take us from here. The house is emptier with her gone. I cleaned the silver Jeep up Friday and put it up for sale. It sold Saturday to the first guy who looked at it. His girlfriend has one. He is going to flip my Jeep and keep the extra parts for her Jeep. He got a good deal but I am happy with the selling price. He is picking it up Wednesday.
I will miss the Punisher but the Gladiator more than makes up for it. I have been counting down the days left in the year. I can have 16 days off at the end of the year if I save my vacation days. It would be nice to get in the Gladiator and just take off. I wonder if Firefly would be interrested.
Congrats on selling your old Jeep so quickly. A two-week Christmas getaway would be great, wouldn't it!

DeleteWhy not just find a new arrangement? I know you had mixed thoughts about it, but wouldn't it be nice to not have to take care of a person with substance abuse problems? Even if rehab does go well. The youth part I can understand, the substance abuse just seems like a regression to someone who is gone. One less thing to stress you.
ReplyDeleteRoth I am looking around. They are not as easy to find as I would like. You are correction Firefly is a shadow of Billie. Firefly is affordable. If they were ideal they wouldn't be in need of an arrangement.

ReplyDeleteOf course! I always make my vehicles individual unless I don't care about them. Firefly needs a good 90 days in the rehab. I am not sure she will get more than 30.

Delete90 to 120 is really the optimum days to find one's self and be in a therapeutic community ..... lets hope she has the insurance or ability to do just that..
